Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai

“Today’s Chemistry is tomorrows Medicine”

Clinical biochemistry forms the backbone of every clinical specialty, as up to 70% of clinical diagnosis requires the input of laboratory investigations. The division of Clinical Biochemistry is the integral bridge between patients and clinicians.

We welcome you to our Annual Meeting titled “Advances in Biochemistry &Cancer Diagnostics”. This title depicts our practice and vision to teach and learn at Tata Memorial Hospital. This CME is aimed to provide a platform for all involved in laboratory medicine and laboratory diagnosis for discussion and keeping upraised about the latest developments and advances in the field.

The CME schedule on first day will cover lectures with above aim in mind and the second day is a workshop that will appeal to the novices in laboratory medicine whereby we shall cover basic principles of instrumentation, operation of automated machine, special techniques and serum protein electrophoresis.

About us:

The Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Tata Memorial Hospital has a high throughput laboratory that processes over 2000 to 3000 patient samples per day which includes biochemical assays, immunoassays, assays for tumor marker and serum protein electrophoresis. We have experience with high end analyzers in routine clinical medicine and highly trained staff.

Who should attend ?
